How Do I Book Pass the Parcel?
It’s simple! If you are interested in shipping suitcases and boxes abroad, just go to our online booking page (link to online booking page). Tell us where you want your consignment to go, whether it’s in the UK or abroad, how many items there are and how much they weigh. Once the order has been confirmed, print out your labels to go with your consignment. We then pick up the items and deliver them to the address on the labels.
How Do We Collect Your Items?
Our drivers will come to the front door to collect your items. If you are a student in a hall of residence, then the consignment can be picked up from reception or another common area. Collections take place from 9am until 6pm from Monday to Friday, and not on weekends or Bank Holidays. It may also be possible to collect your items from a local depot.
What Payment Options Are There?
We accept most of the main credit and debit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. You can pay online (link to payment page) in British currency, Euros, and American and Australian dollars.
Do You Sell Any Packaging Items?
We supply a selection of high-quality packaging materials, so that your possessions arrive safe and secure at their intended destination. These include removals cartons in various sizes, vinyl tape, tissue paper and bubblewrap, and more specialist items such as wardrobe cartons, export wrap and sofa and mattress bags. What are the Delivery Arrangements?
If you are interested in shipping suitcases and boxes, then Pass the Parcel only operates on Mondays to Fridays, and not on weekends or public holidays. Unless you are sending items to the UAE, all land-based orders will be delivered to a residential or business address and not a PO Box number.
Air freight services are door to door. If you wish to collect from your nearest airport just let us know and this can be arranged for you (local fee payable and documentation and identification required as applicable depending on the requirements of the specific destination countries laws and regulations). Sea freight is not part of our door-to-door delivery service.
Can I Track My Items?
You can check the progress of your items every step of the way, thanks to our sophisticated online tracking system. This allows you to check when your possessions were collected, when they are en route, and when they have been delivered. We also offer email and SMS notifications for additional security.
Is There Anything You Can’t Send with Pass the Parcel?
There are a number of items which you are not allowed to send with our luggage delivery service. These include hazardous items such as explosives and ammunitions, organic goods such as plants and foodstuffs, and potentially dangerous chemicals. A full list can be found on our prohibited items page.
Are There Any Customs Requirements?
If your items are being shipped within the EU there are currently no customs procedures. If your goods are being shipped to a non-EU country, then local customs procedures and associated fees may be applicable. When your items arrive, you will be appointed a customs clearance agent, or you may wish to appoint your own. All necessary documentation, and procedural requirements will be explained in conjunction with any associated local fees. Once this is complete your items will be delivered to your door, and your service complete.
